A NEW HP INDIGO
5500 WAS DELIVERED ON OCTOBER 16, TO BE PLACED IN BRIDGEPORT'S NEW ADDITION
November 16, 2007
HP Indigo delivered their newest press, an Indigo 5500 with 7 color print
capabilities to Bridgeport National Bindery.
The new equipment was purchased to ramp up volume in the burgeoning color
Print On-Demand Division. The added bonus of the 5500 with 7-colors is
its ability to print high resolution, high-quality images.
The extra 3 colors, Light Magenta, Light Cyan, and any other color of
BNB's choosing allow the machine to make tiny details clearer.
Hues are graded closer to their actual coloring.
This also doubles the current print capacity of BNB's Indigo engines.
FOR 11 YEARS BRIDGEPORT NATIONAL BINDERY
HAS DISPLAYED AT THE ON-DEMAND SHOW

February 1, 2008
The On Demand Show has been displaying digital print technology,
suppliers & software to commercial printers, print buyers and other

Center, hosted the show last year.
Bridgeport National Bindery's booth,
# 450 will be open on the 3rd
of March at the start of the show, manned by Kent
Larson, Craig Siano and Jonathan Jacobsen. All questions regarding
demand binding, short-run work and any other digital printing question is

NATIONAL BINDERY ADDS 15,000 SQUARE FEET TO ITS AGAWAM, MA FACTORY

November 23, 2007
Bridgeport National Bindery opened its new addition to production work on
November 23, 2007 ending nearly 6 months of construction.
Plans for the building were begun nearly a year ago, when it became
evident that print operations would need room to grow. The design
added 15,000 square feet of space which included over 9,000 square feet of
print engine room, nearly 3,000 square feet of material storage, and 3,000
square feet of office space that will be meant mostly for the Developer and
Print Division teams.
On the 23rd, Bridgeport's newest print engine, an HP Indigo 5500 began
printing its first jobs.
The addition is more than four times the size of the current Print
Production Room, which currently houses five engines.
